Leadership excellence workshops offered by Alber Enterprise Center
April 10, 2018—Marion, OH – The Alber Enterprise Center of The Ohio State University is holding a series of professional development workshops for individuals interested in furthering their leadership skills. Facilitated by Jim Franks, Solution Provider and certified coach, the program will begin on May 15th with the focus on Exemplary Leadership.
According to the Association for Talent Development, most learners forget 90 percent of their training and quickly revert to old habits. One unique aspect of the Alber Center’s program is the focus on reinforcement of the concepts so that participants actually change habits and develop new behaviors. “Prompts or questions sent directly to the participants’ mobile devices after the program is one of our reinforcement tools – from a resource called Mindmarker®,” stated Myra Wilson, Center director. In addition, the program features one-on-one coaching to help learners to make long-term changes as a result of the program.
Registration deadline is May 8th and workshops are being held at the Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center at Ohio State Columbus campus. For more information or to register for the workshop(s), go to: here.
