Admission Requirements

Ohio State Regional campuses operate under an open access admission policy. This means that students who have graduated from an accredited Ohio high school or earned their GED have the opportunity to earn an Ohio State education and learn from world class faculty on the Marion campus.

The Ohio State University transfer policy states that in order for a student to be admitted at a regional campus, they must have earned a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA in all attempted coursework post high school graduation.

To apply you will need to complete the following steps:

  1. Apply to Ohio State Marion by the application deadline for the semester you wish to enroll (apply.osu.edu)
  2. Request that your official transcripts be sent directly from the institution to The Ohio State University (not Marion campus specifically). Transcripts can be sent electronically, via email to esue-studugt@osu.edu, or to the address below:

  3. Pay a $60 application fee (This fee can be waived with qualifying circumstances. Please contact your school counselor or the Enrollment Services office for more information.)
  4. ACT/SAT scores (Not required but highly encouraged that students have their scores sent to Ohio State for placement considerations, required for applicants with a degree from non-charted high schools).
