North Central District Science Day and the Marion Area Science & Engineering Fair

North Central District Science Day and the Marion Area Science & Engineering Fair. Saturday, March 18, 2017 in the Alber Student Center.

North Central District Science Day is a program of the Junior Academy of The Ohio Academy of Science. All students in grades 5-12 who earn a Superior rating in their local, city, or county Science Days, and who are enrolled in any school in the district (including home schooling), are eligible to enter the North Central District Science Day. Students compete for an opportunity to participate in State Science Day, to be held at the Columbus campus of The Ohio State University on May 13, 2017.

The Marion Area Science & Engineering Fair is affiliated with the Society for Science & the Public. The Marion Area Science & Engineering Fair has two divisions: a senior division for grades 9-12 and a junior division for grades 6-8. High school students will compete in the senior division for an opportunity to participate in the Intel International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF), to be held in Los Angeles, California, May 14-19, 2017. ISEF participants will receive an all expenses paid trip to Los Angeles for the competition.Students in grades 6-8 will compete in the junior division for an opportunity to participate in the Broadcom MASTERS middle school program.
