Love Is Louder Movement & Free Screening of Impactful Film
Monday through Wednesday, October 28th – 30th, The Ohio State Marion Office of Counseling and Wellness will be screening the film, Call Me Crazy.

In April 2013, Lifetime Television premiered Call Me Crazy: A Five Film which brings together an all-star ensemble cast with five interwoven stories about how love, support and hope can help us overcome emotional health conditions like depression, bipolar disorder and PTSD. Love is Louder co-founder Brittany Snow stars in the film alongside Jennifer Hudson, Melissa Leo, Octavia Spencer, Sarah Hyland and many more. The film was Executive Produced by Jennifer Aniston, Marta Kauffman, Kristin Hahn, Kevin Chinoy and Francesca Silvestri.
The Jed Foundation’s Love is Louder movement partnered with Lifetime and the film’s production team to help turn its messages of help and hope into action. Now, The Jed Foundation is expanding the reach and impact of the film by working with campuses Ohio State Marion to hold screenings of the film that also incorporate Love is Louder to encourage students to take action to help themselves and others.

The Love is Louder Movement
Love is Louder was started by The Jed Foundation, MTV, and Brittany Snow to support anyone feeling mistreated, misunderstood or alone. It’s hundreds of thousands of people just like you who have turned this idea into a movement. A movement of all types of people who have come together to raise the volume around the message that love and support are louder than any internal or external voice that brings us down.
Individuals, communities, schools and organizations have embraced Love is Louder as a way to address with issues like bullying, negative self-image, discrimination, loneliness and depression. Even as we work to stop negative words and actions that hurt us, we can strengthen our abilities to cope with hard times, focus on the positive, support the people around us, and reach out for help if we need it.
