Only Ohio State approved faculty teach Ohio State courses at the Delaware location.
How will Ohio State transcripts list the Ohio State courses being taught at the Columbus State Delaware location?
The courses will appear on a student’s Ohio State transcript just as any Ohio State course taken on any other Ohio State campus.

Will the Columbus State courses I take through the partnership apply to my Ohio State Degree?
Yes-Your Ohio State Marion academic advisor will work with you to ensure that the Columbus State courses you enroll for through this partnership will be fully-transferrable to Ohio State, and will count directly towards your planned Ohio State degree. Even though you may choose to “dual-enroll” for both Ohio State and Columbus State courses during your first year of study, you can still be considered a degree-seeking Ohio State student as long as you take at least one Ohio State course per term, and will not lose the benefit of being able to simply switch to the Ohio State Columbus campus once you have earned at least 45 combined quarter (or 30 semester) credit hours and are eligible for admission to your major.
What will be the tuition for Ohio State courses offered at the Columbus State Delaware location?
As long as the majority of a student’s Ohio State credit hours in a given quarter are being taken at the Columbus State Delaware location and/or at the Marion campus or at any other Ohio State regional campus, the lower tuition rate charged at Ohio State’s regional campuses will apply. Will my Marion campus scholarship be applied to Columbus State classes?
Unlike Federal financial aid, campus-based scholarship funds are earmarked by donors only for Ohio State Marion credit hours.
If I’m taking classes at Ohio State and Columbus State, do I pay tuition at both places?
Yes-students will pay Ohio State regional campus tuition rates for their Ohio State Marion credit hours and Columbus State’s rates for their Columbus State credit hours.
If I’m a full time student at Ohio State Marion and take an additional course at the Columbus State Delaware Campus, will I be charged for the Columbus State course?
Yes-students will pay Ohio State regional campus tuition rates for their Ohio State Marion credit hours and Columbus State’s rates for their Columbus State credit hours. No consortium agreement would be needed in this case because consortium is only applicable in situations where students are less than full-time at their home school and need to add the hours at their host school to make them eligible for the maximum amount of Federal aid they have been awarded.
My education is funded through the GI bill and I need to be a full time student. If I am enrolled at Ohio State and Columbus State, are my hours combined to determine full time enrollment or do I need to be enrolled full time at one place?
The hours will be combined through a consortium agreement in order to make the student full-time for financial aid purposes.
If I’m transferring back and forth between Ohio State and Columbus State, do I need to provide a transcript at the end of each term?
Ohio State Marion students who qualify for a financial aid consortium agreement will have their Columbus State coursework and credit sent automatically to Ohio State for inclusion on their transcript. Ohio State Marion students who enroll for Columbus State-Delaware courses without a financial aid consortium agreement on file will need to submit a transcript request form to Columbus State at the end of the term, or the end of the academic year.
